The hostes sat us in a booth that had a big rip on it first. Secondly the bathroom toilet seat in the restrooms were horrible I was with my sister and her family, my brother in law told us that some one vomited in one of the sinks in the men's restrooms and almost all the tables and floors were filthy and we were given dirty plates the service was slow as well we will never eat at any Texas Roadhouse ever again I left totally disgusted!!!

Fall off the bone ribs...yes, but it's more of tagline than quality reassurance. Steak was aiiight. They made it seem like it was a fat juicy rib-eye. Didn't get much other than a over-tenderized select piece of beef. It's all good, just saying... Dinner rolls with cinnamon butter was a nice touch. Service was sincere. So glad the place was open when we needed it. 10:30 in the middle of no where ... and everything else was closed; it satisfied my hunger, so I am thankful and remember it in a good light. Also can't give it anything higher than a 3 because I can't compare it to anything legitimate, and it didn't deserve below a 3. ps: they said "ya'll" 68 times...

We went Saturday last week. We get there at 10:25 and the friendly yet inept waiter came over and got a drink order. When he comes back he has to ask us all again what we had to drink. Which is a major pet peeve. He just took the order 2 minutes prior. How do you forget that quickly. We all ordered. We asked for bread and he said that the bakery shut down early and there was none. He came back and told us that they were out of the appetizer we order. When our salad came out , before the appetizer mind you, it didn't have croutons on it. We told him that we were frustrated about them being out of stuff so he went and talked to the manager and he got some bread in the oven for us. Our food showed up a few minutes after our appetizer did. Bad pace. To much on the table to eat so that the cold food wasn't and the hot was not either by the time we ate it and of course he came and asked us if we wanted more drink midway through the meal. Who does that? Don't ever ask me that unless the whole table is bussed and we have closed out already. If I am consuming anything keep my drink full. Lastly our chicken fried chicken came out on a huge plate with nothing else on it. Our waiter didn't deliver our food so we had to wait till he got back tell him about our side dish. Loaded fries. He said yeah that the kitchen was waiting on some fresh ones. We all finished our meals before he brought our fries. At which point we didn't want them any longer. The waiter was nice enough but a bad waiter and distracted. Even though we were very obviously frustrated a manager never visited our table. On the way out I saw the bartender and 2 servers digging their fingers in the fries out in front of everyone. Very badly run restaurant. Never had service and food this bad in Houston but this was enough to not go into a roadhouse again. People work to hard for their money to go to places like this and get treated this way.

5:30 arrival so not very busy. Ordered strip steak baked potato with salad. Sat at the bar as a solo. Salad was warm with wilted lettuce. Waiting and three servers/bartenders just hanging on the coolers texting. Never approached after initial order. 20 minutes later I notice a server standing in the bar holding a plate (mine) just having a conversation with one of the texters. Three or more minutes after I call to bartender and tell her to send the plate back and get the manager, the server decides to bring my plate. I tell her to take it back and get me my check. Her response is "you're kidding, right". After telling her twice more she tosses the plate in front of me. Finally paid for my beer got ingo from manager and went across the freeway to O'Charley's and had a great meal. If you enjoy poor service and lack of customer service this might be your place

Service was good. Ribs were good. My ribeye tasted like it was pressed to be cooked quicker, tough and not juicy. The manager looked out of control of restaurant because all the servers congregated by a POS system near us. Was our first time there and more than likely our last. I much rather Saltgrass inside of the golden nugget near there.

They usually run out of prime rib way early on the weekends. The service is pretty good, but my steak is usually a little over cooked when I eat there and I have to send it back. It's usually right the second time. They have cute servers :)

We went to this wonderful restaurant for a bite to eat. Many well dressed teenagers were there on prom. The front of the house was so nice when they lied to us and nicely said 15 mins wait. I was so happy to wait an hour for my table. The waitress was the best example of how not to do her job. She took our order and didn't even know there was no silverware on the table. And when she brought it back, she placed all three sets on the edge of the table and walk away. So nice. The expidiers brought our food, never asked about a refill on the drinks. I moved the empties to the next table. Never checked on our order.. I left my table and spoke with the manager. Told him I will never eat at this nice place again . Yep, salt grass will get my money and once again ,Texas Road house should shut it's doors

Absolutely the worst service ever. Some items burnt Some items undercooked. Wife had to go get our on refills only to find out that only the servers can do that still another 10 min wait just to get a refill.

Updating my review because the past couple of times I've been to Texas Road House have been TERRIBLE! Terrible customer service and terrible food. I ordered some portobello mushroom chicken that was supposed to come with a sauce, and they completely forgot the sauce. I told the waiter and he seemed sooo uninterested as if it would be a hassle to get me at least a small plate of the sauce because the chicken was extremely dry. I ended up not eating and I just went home. I made the mistake of going there again a couple weeks later and everything was EXTREMELY salty!! And I'm not just saying a little extra salt, I'm saying it was as if I was eating salt on its own!!! I'm definitely never stepping foot in that horrid place again

Eaten here twice, had meatloaf the first time and a ribeye the second. Also got a frozen margarita which was pretty delicious. Food has been great and so has the service.

It took like 15 minutes to get seated, which was pretty bad. The staff were unmotivated, and had little attention to detail. Plus, it took quiet a while to actually get the food when we ordered But, once i got my food (grilled shrimp) it was pretty good. The sweat tea was also fairly good as well. But ultimately, it was overpriced for the service.

Mmmm, the memory of my meal here on vacation brings mouth watering visions. I thoroughly enjoyed the ribeye, cooked to perfection just as I ordered it. Our meal was perfectly timed. The steaks were not served until we completely finished the salads. The waiter was new, but very friendly. He even took time near the end of our meal to chat about our trip there. I tend to drink a lot of water during my meal and my glass was never empty. Great food and great service.

Its a steak house, so there's little room for error. Our server forgot to bring us our bread so we ordered the snake bits which were damn tasty. Long story short we got a free appetizer because she forgot, we left happy.

We had a party of 16 planned for 6pm, Tuesday night. They wouldn't seat us until all arrived, so we sat before the rest hoping we could add a table/chairs. A few were late & were offered a booth in front of our table, which we didn't take. The waitress was very nice & did her best. Rolls were wonderful & plentiful. House salad was great! My country fried steak was tough & the white gravy contained sugar-it was gross. Mashed potatoes weren't anything great, rather dry & hard. Disappointed overall.

It's always a long wait. Love the bread and cinnamon butter!! Seriously, I could eat a whole basket myself. I like the house salad with honey mustard. The prime rib is huge and I always take home half along with my sweet potato for a 2nd meal. My kids love the peanuts and they split the salmon, with wild rice and corn for a healthier dinner. Not sure why the rice is so oily though. We've never had a problem with the service, just a long time to get seated.

UPDATE: We were contacted by a T.R. representative, whom apologized for this experience and the attitude of the restaurant's manager. We have already visited the T.R. in San Antonio and received amazing service, the food we wanted, and fresh bread at our table. Hopefully this location can step up their game and get Texas Ready!

The food and atmosphere are good but I think they hire too many kids. Most of the staff seems to be more interested in their smart phones, BS sessions, grab-assing and college finals than they are the patrons.

If I can give -1 star I will!! We went there 1 hour ago to have dinner with my husband and my 2 yrs old baby, when we got there it was crowded , we got our table ready and the waiter came ask what we wanna drink so we order 2 unsweetened tea and 2 waters, in a couple of minutes he came with the drinks and dropped all the drinks from his tray to the table and landed on my pants and all over my baby, it was awful , it was ice water and ice unsweetened tea , can you imagine that?!!! My jeans was wet and my baby pants wet too! The manager his name is Donovan offered us free meals for 30 bucks! I guess that's not worth compare to our awful experience so we leave , so very disappointed , on the way out we saw another waiter dropped drinks , so how they recruit their employee there?! If they can't bring all drinks In one time just bring them one by one
